Ross Hutchins takes to Twitter to reveal that he is in remission following his treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

British tennis player Ross Hutchins has confirmed that he is in remission following a battle with cancer.

The 28-year-old was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in December 2012, which forced him to take an extended break from the sport.

However, following several months of treatment, the London-born player has revealed that he is on the road to recovery.

"Was a big day today. Met my Oncologist and I am now in remission :) So grateful to fantastic Professor Cunningham and his team," he wrote on Twitter.

"Thank you to everyone for your constant, incredible support. I couldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for all of you, I really mean that!"

Wimbledon and US Open champion Andy Murray dedicated some of most recent victories to Hutchins.
