Sam Querrey sees off Milos Raonic at Paris Masters

Sam Querrey has reached the quarter-finals of the Paris Masters with a straight-sets victory over Milos Raonic.

The American world number world number 22, who knocked out Novak Djokovic in the previous round, broke once to take the opening set 6-3.

Both players held serve in the second before Querrey hammered the Canadian world number 14 7-1 in the tie-break.

He will now face Michael Llodra for a place in the semi-finals following the veteran Frenchman's surprise win against seventh seed Juan Martin del Potro.
