Roger Federer secured his 1,000th ATP Tour victory in the final of the Brisbane International this morning.
Up against Canada's Milos Raonic, Federer claimed the opening set 6-4 in just 32 minutes.
However, Raonic responded by winning the next set 7-2 in a tie-break, only for Federer to win the decider 6-4.
Speaking briefly on court after his win, Federer told the crowd: "I'll never forget this moment."
Former world number one Federer has now become just the third man after Jimmy Connors [1,253] and Ivan Lendl [1,071] to reach the four-figure landmark.
