John Isner wins eighth ATP Tour title

American number one John Isner wins the 2014 Heineken Open for the second time in five years by beating Taiwan's Lu Yen-Hsun 7-6 7-6.

John Isner won the 2014 Heineken Open by beating Taiwan's Lu Yen-Hsun in straight sets in Saturday's final.

The American number one hit 23 aces and edged two tight tie-breaks to lift the trophy in Auckland for the second time in five years.

He claimed the first breaker 7-4, before winning the second 9-7.

Isner has now won eight ATP Tour titles.
