Johanna Konta has recorded another impressive victory at Eastbourne, beating 14th seed Garbine Muguruza in three sets to reach the quarter-finals.
The world number 146 survived a second-set comeback from the Spaniard before running out a 6-4 4-6 6-3 winner.
The British number two had already defeated Zarina Diyas and Ekaterina Makarova to reach the third round, and the signs were good regarding a third shock result after she broke serve twice to move into an early advantage against the world number 20.
However, Muguruza quickly established the advantage in the second set before holding on to take the contest into a decider.
Konta recovered, though, breaking twice at the start of the third to open up a 5-1 lead, and although Muguruza threatened another fightback, the 24-year-old served out the match at the second time of asking to set up a last-eight encounter with Belinda Bencic.
