Gilles Simon came from a set down to beat number seven seed Janko Tipsarevic to reach the last eight of the Miami Masters.
Tipsarevic came out strongly in the first set and earned the crucial break of serve allowing him to take the set 7-5.
The Frenchman responded in the second breaking the Serbian twice on his way to taking the set 6-2, setting up a decider.
Simon maintained his strong performance from the second set as he powered his way to a 6-2 victory and will now face either Tommy Haas or Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals.
