Andy Murray and Colin Fleming fall at the final hurdle in the Roger Cup doubles.

Andy Murray and Colin Fleming have been beaten 6-4 7-6(4) by Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares in the doubles final of the Rogers Cup.

The Scottish duo were outclassed in the first set by the Austrian-Brazilian pair-up, and were broken early in the second.

They went on to offer some resistance and force a tie-break, but the third seeds were soon back on top, edging the breaker 6-4.

Wimbledon champion Murray dropped out of the singles event at the Montreal tournament earlier this week at the hands of Latvian Ernests Gulbis.
