Great Britain's Laura Robson has progressed into the third round of the Olympic tennis tournament with a 7-6 6-4 victory over Lucie Safavora.
Both competitors held their serve well in the opening exchanges, but a vital break from the 18-year-old looked promising until her Czech opponent broke back to take the opening set to a tie-break.
Robson was successful in the contest and took the momentum into the second set by taking an early break and storming through the second to clinch a spot in the next round.
Robson's next challenge will be a tie against third seed Maria Sharapova.
