Andy Murray to remain on Arthur Ashe Stadium

British number one Andy Murray will play his second successive match on Arthur Ashe Stadium when he faces Adrian Mannarino on Thursday.

Andy Murray has been placed on Arthur Ashe Stadium for the second successive match as he looks to make further progress at the US Open on Thursday.

The British number one will face Adrian Mannarino at around 8.30pm, BST, after coming through his opening encounter with Nick Kyrgios during Tuesday's night session.

Murray has been joined in the last 64 by Aljaz Bedene, with the 26-year-old due to face Donald Young in the second match on Court 17.

The first contest involves Johanna Konta, who will be looking to make the third round of a Grand Slam for the first time when she plays Wimbledon finalist Garbine Muguruza.

The night session will see Roger Federer meet Steve Darcis before Caroline Wozniacki goes up against Petra Cetkovska.
