Andy Murray has revealed that he is "glad" to win the Wimbledon title following his straight-sets victory over Novak Djokovic in the final.
The world number two became the first British man to win the tournament since 1936 as he came through 6-4 7-5 6-4 on Sunday.
"I'm so glad to finally do it," Murray told BBC Sport. "I just managed to squeeze through."
The victory has seen Murray pick up the second Grand Slam of his career after winning last year's US Open.
