Milos Raonic outclasses Great Britain's Liam Broady at Wimbledon

Great Britain's Liam Broady is beaten by Milos Raonic in straight sets in the first round of Wimbledon.

Milos Raonic proved too much for British number four Liam Broady at Wimbledon, with the Canadian winning their first-round contest in straight sets.

The 13th seed encountered some resistance in the opening set, but went on to secure a 5-7 0-6 1-6 victory to book his place in round two.

Wildcard entrant Broady took the game to Raonic from the off, but when set two got underway, his opponent began to dominate and won 11 games in a row.

During the contest, the Canadian hit 18 aces and was rarely troubled from set two onwards.

Raonic will face either American Denis Kudla or his Canadian compatriot Peter Polansky in round two.
