Victoria Azarenka powers into Wimbledon quarter-finals

Two-time major winner Victoria Azarenka is through to the Wimbledon quarter-finals with a comfortable win over Belinda Bencic.

Victoria Azarenka has seen off the challenge of Belinda Bencic to reach the Wimbledon quarter-finals.

The former world number one possessed too much power for the teenager as she raced to a 6-2 6-3 victory.

Azarenka, who is yet to drop a set during the tournament, took the opener by a wide margin, but it didn't tell the whole story as Bencic missed out on four break-point opportunities.

The 18-year-old Swiss continued to hold her own at the start of the second, but it was Azarenka, who will return to the world's top 20 next week, who ended the stronger to set up a mouth-watering showdown with Serena Williams.
