Jonathan Brownlee has praised his teammates as Team England secured gold in the triathlon mixed team relay, playing down his own part in the win.
The quartet of Vicky Holland, Jodie Stimpson, Alistair Brownlee and his brother completed the 400m swim, 6km cycle, and 1.6km run course in a total time of 1:13:24.
Brownlee told BBC Sport after the event: "It was a good race, it was always close, or at least it was until the last leg.
"Vicky gave us a good start, I just had to keep it safe, Jodie destroyed it and then Alistair finished it off."
South Africa took silver 49 seconds back in the competition, with Australia finishing third.
