New Zealand triathlete Ryan Sissons has praised Glasgow when questioned on how well-equipped the city is to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
The 26-year-old finished 13th in the men's race this afternoon with a time of just over one hour and 53 minutes.
Asked if Glasgow was suitable for such an event, Sissons told Sports Mole: "Yeah, absolutely. I haven't been in the village much yet, but I am looking forward to getting in there after the race and experiencing it. It has been amazing."
Sissons finished a little over five minutes behind gold medallist Alistair Brownlee.
