Michel Mulder delighted with "dream" finish

Dutch speedskater Michel Mulder speaks of his delight at standing on the winner's podium alongside his twin brother at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.

Dutch speedskater Michel Mulder was delighted to stand on the winner's podium alongside his twin brother at the Winter Olympic Games on Monday.

The 27-year-old secured gold in the men's 500m, while sibling Ronald finished in the bronze medal position at the Adler Arena.

"It is a dream, of course, to come here, me and my twin brother," Michel told reporters. "It would be the perfect scenario to be 1-2, but together on the podium is amazing."

The Netherlands have picked up seven of the nine available medals in the speedskating events in Sochi so far, helping them climb to second in the overall table.
