Molly Summerhayes wins Freestyle Skiing World Junior halfpipe title

Molly Summerhayes has won the halfpipe title at the FIS Freestyle Junior World Championships.

Great Britain's Molly Summerhayes has won the Freestyle Skiing halfpipe title at the FIS Freestyle Junior World Championships in Valmalenco, Italy.

Summerhayes scored 71.40 on her second run, beating 15-year-old Valeria Demidova of Russia to secure gold. United States's Anna Gorham, 14, won bronze with a best score of 64.60.

Fellow Briton Madison Rowlands, 14, was seventh with a score of 59.80.

Molly is the 17-year-old younger sister of world slopestyle silver medallist Katie Summerhayes.
