Norway's Kjetil Jansrud wins gold in the men's super-G event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Norway's Kjetil Jansrud has won gold in the men's super-G event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

The 28-year-old, who took bronze in the men's downhill last Sunday, triumphed with a time of one minute 18.14 seconds ahead of America's Andrew Weibrecht, who finished 30 seconds behind in second.

Meanwhile, there were two bronze medal winners in the form of Canada's Jan Hudec and USA's Bode Miller.

Both finished precisely 53 seconds behind Jansrud.
