Switzerland skier Sandro Viletta has admitted that he did not expect to win the men's super combined event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi on Friday.
The 28-year-old, who finished 14th in the Vancouver Games four years ago, has won only one World Cup race in his career.
"This is amazing, it's perfect, it's more than a dream come true," the Japan Times quotes him as saying.
"It's also a big shock. I didn't think I would come first. I'm so happy."
Croatia's Ivica Kostelic won the silver medal, while Christof Innerhofer of Italy claimed bronze.
