Team GB skier James Woods: 'Slopestyle will be spectacle'

James Woods believes that Thursday's ski slopestyle competition will be a spectacle for the viewers.

Great Britain's slopestyle skier James Woods has insisted that Thursday's competition will be "an amazing show" for the spectators at the Sochi Winter Olympics 2014.

Woods, who admitted that he has not fully recovered from a hip injury he suffered in training, said that he is not sure about his medal chances but would give it all he has got.

"I don't know what it will take [to win] but it's going to be an amazing show," he told Team GB's official website.

"I'm excited to be a part of this team, it's something I will cherish forever. I want to get out there and give my absolute all, whether it's battling myself or everyone else in the field."

Britain's only medal so far remains Jenny Jones's bronze in the snowboard slopestyle.
