Great Britain curling skip David Murdoch has praised his rink's "commanding performance" against the United States after being "aggressive in the first five ends".
Team GB raced into a 4-1 lead by the halfway mark, and went on to defeat their American counterparts 5-3 to climb to second place in the round robin standings, behind undefeated China.
When asked about today's game, the Dumfries-born veteran told reporters: "[It was] just a commanding performance, and I think we really dominated them from start to finish. We were aggressive in the first five ends, got our lead and we were clinical after that.
"You are always striving to do better and that is just the desire within you. I think we are actually getting stronger, but we need to be, with a lot of tough games still to come. It is all about momentum and if we can keep going with that we will be in a good place.
"We are very comfortable with the situation right now. We are up there near the top with [four wins] and one [loss] and if you had said that at the start of the week I would have been very happy with that."
Team GB's curlers will face Denmark tomorrow at 3pm GMT.
