Bode Miller admits his "mistakes" during men's super combined

Bode Miller believes that he failed to finish in the top three in the men's super combined at the Sochi Games due to his own mistakes.

American skier Bode Miller has admitted that he made mistakes during the men's super combined at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi on Friday.

The 36-year-old was 12th in the downhill, but recovered in the slalom leg of the event to finish sixth.

"The tactics were there and the skiing was there, but you can't make mistakes like I did today," the Japan Times quotes him as saying.

Sandro Viletta of Switzerland won the gold medal.
