WWE star Fandango has revealed that he is an Everton fan.
Blues supporters started an online campaign to get the Goodison Park matchday staff to play the wrestler's entrance music ahead of a game last season before the grappler himself got in on the act on Twitter.
Since the incident, Fandango, whose real name is Curt Hussey, has revealed that he has started following the Merseyside outfit.
He told the Liverpool Echo: "A few WWE fans over here in the UK were tweeting Everton asking them to play my music.
"Everton responded saying they would not be able to, so me being the aggressor that I am decided to tweet Everton a bit of friendly banter back and forth and they decided to play my music. Since then we've been good friends!"
"I'm starting to follow them a lot more now and it's cool to have the support of the team. I'm a bit of a hometown guy, so if I had to lean towards anybody [as my favourite player] it would be [Tim Howard], definitely."
Fandango is likely to be part of Wrestlemania XXX next month.
