WWE superstar Daniel Bryan has apologised to wrestling fans after he failed to appear in the Royal Rumble match on Sunday evening.
Bryan, who lost a singles match to Bray Wyatt at the start of the pay-per-view event, had been expected to feature in the 30-man over-the-top-rope contest, but after Rey Mysterio made his way to the ring as the number 30 entrant, the Pittsburgh crowd wasted no time in voicing their displeasure.
After the conclusion of the match, which was won by Batista, Bryan tweeted the following:
Sorry guys, the machine wanted me nowhere near the Royal Rumble match. But I thank everyone for their support. YOU are the #YESMovement

They try to keep US down and away from the top spots, but they can't ignore the reactions forever. Keep voicing your opinions. #YESMovement
