Gemma Collins to teach business studies for CBBC

Gemma Collins is named on the roster of teachers for the next series of CBBC's Celebrity Supply Teacher and will deliver a class on business studies.

Gemma Collins has been named among the lineup for the next series of CBBC's Celebrity Supply Teacher.

The show launched earlier this year in response to the coronavirus pandemic and sees famous faces give short lessons for kids in their area of expertise.

In addition to Collins, who will present a lesson on business, the lineup for the new run includes Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli (Italian), Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen (art), Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall (science), Gareth Thomas (PE) and drag queen Courtney Act (wellbeing).

"I might be Britain's number one reality star and best loved diva but being a celebrity supply teacher has been fantastic," said Collins, who is thought to be worth around £3 million.

"I have been passionate about business ever since I was a child. We were quite poor growing up, we didn't have luxuries, and seeing my father set up his own business and seeing how our lives changed really motivated me to become a business person myself.

"I have loved passing on my top business tips learnt over the years to the next generation of entrepreneurs!"

The new series of Celebrity Supply Teacher begins on November 16 on the CBBC channel, with The GC's episode airing on November 17.
