Juventus agree terms with Chelsea over Maurizio Sarri?

Juventus and Chelsea reportedly come to an agreement for Maurizio Sarri, leaving the Italian on the brink of becoming the new boss of the Italian champions.

Juventus have reportedly made a breakthrough in negotiations with Chelsea for head coach Maurizio Sarri.

Massimiliano Allegri ended his five-year association with Juventus at the end of the campaign, leaving the Serie A champions to search for his successor before pressing on with their transfer plans for the summer.

Reports have frequently linked Sarri - the former boss of Napoli - with a switch to Turin, despite having won the Europa League in his first year at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have refused to budge on their demands for compensation from Juventus, who had been hoping that the Premier League side would allow the Italian to return to his homeland.

However, Sky in Italy claims that the two parties have now reached an agreement for the 60-year-old to end his 11-month stay in West London.

The report adds that Sarri is expected to be formally unveiled in the coming days after agreeing a three-year contract.
