Crystal Palace midfielder Michael Olise is reportedly returning to London early from international duty after suffering a foot injury.

Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise is returning early from international duty due to a foot injury, according to a report.

The Eagles star has been a consistent part of Patrick Vieira's plans this season, playing 22 of Crystal Palace's 29 Premier League games so far, scoring twice in the process.

The midfielder has also created five assists this season which has caught the attention of Gareth Southgate, who would reportedly like him to play for England.

Olise was representing France's Under-21s, but he has had to withdraw from the squad ahead of tests on his foot to see how severe the damage is, according to London World.

The 20-year-old had made his debut for the team against Faroe Islands, but now he is a doubt ahead of the upcoming Premier League fixture with Arsenal next Monday.

The Eagles have nine more matches in the top flight this season, while the club also have an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea awaiting them.
