Six venues in England will host the Under-17 European Championships next May, with England gaining automatic entry due to winning the World Cup at the weekend.

Six venues have been selected to stage fixtures in the Under-17 European Championship, which will be held in England in May.

On Saturday, England Under-17s won the World Cup with a 5-2 comeback triumph over Spain, leading to the Three Lions gaining automatic entry for next year's tournament.

An announcement has now been made regarding venues for the competition, with Rotherham United's New York Stadium scheduled to host the final on May 20.

The majority of the grounds are located in central England, with Burton Albion, Walsall, Chesterfield and Loughborough University all being selected to host matches in the 16-nation event.

St George's Park - the Football Association's national football centre - has also been included for the tournament, which commences on May 4.
