Fulham to swap Jazz Richards for Cardiff City's Scott Malone?

Cardiff City and Fulham are reportedly in talks over a swap deal that would take Jazz Richards back to South Wales and send Scott Malone in the opposite direction.

Cardiff City are reportedly in talks with Fulham over a swap deal for left-back Jazz Richards, with Scott Malone moving in the opposite direction.

Richards only joined the Cottagers on a permanent basis last summer, going on to make 22 league appearances for the club during a disappointing Championship campaign.

The 25-year-old was part of the Wales squad that reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016, making a substitute appearance during the win over Slovakia in their opening match.

New Cardiff boss Paul Trollope was part of the Welsh coaching set-up at the tournament, and he is thought to be keen on bringing the former Swansea City defender back to South Wales this summer.

In return, Trollope is willing to send Malone, also 25, to Fulham just 18 months after he joined the club from Millwall.

Malone, who has also played for Wolves and Bournemouth, has scored one goal in 56 appearances for the Bluebirds.
