Gary Neville: 'Players must take responsibility for David Moyes sacking'

Gary Neville believes that the players should take responsibility after Manchester United sack David Moyes.

Gary Neville has claimed that the Manchester United players must take a lot of the responsibility for David Moyes being sacked.

The club confirmed that Moyes had been relieved of his duties on Tuesday morning with United currently seventh in the Premier League, but Neville believes that the situation could have been handled in a different way.

"I don't like the way it's been handled, it could have been dealt with a lot better," the former United defender told Sky Sports News.

"There's no disguising the football and results have been poor. As a fan I've not enjoyed watching it.

"Players have to take massive responsibility. Never once did I blame the manager in my career."
