Antonio Conte will only take the manager's job at Manchester United if he receives a yearly pay packet of £10m, according to a report.

Antonio Conte is reportedly after a yearly wage of £10m to take over at Manchester United.

After being embarrassed in a 5-0 defeat to Liverpool at the weekend, the Red Devils are reportedly considering sacking under-fire manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Zinedine Zidane and Brendan Rodgers have both been linked with the job, but Premier League and Serie A-winning coach Conte is thought to be the favourite to take over.

While the ex-Chelsea and Inter Milan boss is understood to be interested in the job, The Mirror claims that he would be seeking a £10m annual salary to take the reins.

Conte would supposedly be otherwise reluctant to take on a job midway through a season, but the 52-year-old would potentially make an exception for Man United due to it being a 'special opportunity', a separate report from The Guardian claims.

Conte ended Juventus' perennial reign of Serie A dominance with Inter Milan last year and has been out of the game since leaving the Scudetto winners back in May.
