Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested that he expects to see Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku report for pre-season duties despite ongoing speculation over their futures.

United's two most expensive signings of all time have both been heavily linked with moves away from Old Trafford this summer following a tumultuous campaign which saw the Red Devils miss out on Champions League qualification.

Pogba is wanted by Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain in what is likely to be a mega-money deal, while Inter Milan are understood to be lining up a move for Lukaku, who lost his place in the team to Marcus Rashford following Solskjaer's appointment.

United will travel to Australia next month before their opening pre-season game against Perth Glory on July 13, and Solskjaer has insisted that the full first-team squad will be present.

"Summer has been kind to us in that respect - so we'll travel to Perth with the full first team squad," Solskjaer told United's official Facebook channel.

"Everyone should be available to be picked - hopefully they're fit when they come back - so the first team is going to be there. To play against Perth Glory is always a good reference point on how the leagues compare.

"Games against Leeds United (who Man Utd face in Perth four days later) have always been huge for us. I've played in quite a few - both on-and-off the pitch there is some rivalry."

Pogba and Lukaku were among the players to return late from the World Cup last summer, whereas this time around Alexis Sanchez - representing Chile at the Copa America - is the only player to be involved in a major off-season tournament.
