A report claims that Real Madrid have little hope of offloading Gareth Bale in the summer as the Tottenham Hotspur loanee is in line for a £13m payout.

Gareth Bale reportedly has no desire to leave Real Madrid in the summer as he is in line for a further £13m from the Spanish giants.

The Wales international confirmed this week that he will return to the Bernabeu once his Tottenham Hotspur loan contract expires in June.

Madrid had hoped to offload Bale on a permanent deal, but El Confidencial suggests that it is looking increasingly unlikely that will happen.

Bale has one year to run on his big-money deal with Madrid, which it is claimed he is not willing to forgo unless those wages can be matched by another club.

The 31-year-old has had a mixed time of things at Tottenham this season, scoring and assisting a combined 13 goals in 25 appearances.
