Aaron Ramsey scored twice as Arsenal secured a 2-0 victory, and a 5-0 aggregate triumph, over Fenerbahce to book their spot in the group stages of the Champions League.
It was the Turkish side who started the better, with Wojciech Szczesny being forced into a good early save when Bacary Sagna's attempted clearance struck the shins of Raul Meireles.

However, Arsenal's attacking players became more prominent as the first half progressed and Olivier Giroud came close to adding to his tally for the season when he curled wide from 25 yards.
A far from full Emirates Stadium were brought to their feet in the 25th minute as Ramsey opened the scoring by slotting home from close range after Theo Walcott had been dispossessed inside the box.

Despite Arsenal's clear superiority, the hosts almost gifted Fenerbahce a goal when Emmanuel Emenike was allowed to advance into the box but Szczesny responded to push the forward's effort against the post.
Giroud should have doubled his team's lead just before the break when he was picked out by Lukas Podolski but the French striker blazed his shot over the crossbar.

Arsenal looked a relaxed side early in the second half and their confidence in possession caused plenty of problems, with Santi Cazorla only being denied by a save from Volkan Demirel.
Walcott was inches away from opening his account for the season when he curled a free kick against the crossbar as Arsenal slipped into cruise control in North London.
Ramsey made the scoreline even more pleasing for Arsene Wenger in the 72nd minute when, after a good run and cross from substitute Kieran Gibbs, the Welsh midfielder steered a volley into the bottom corner.
Arsenal has chances to add to their goals late in the game, with both Wilshere and Carl Jenkinson being denied by good saves from Demirel as the Gunners eased into the group stages.
