Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Everton

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Friday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Arsenal will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they host Everton in the Premier League on Friday night.

The Gunners had built up some momentum with convincing wins over Sheffield United and Slavia Prague, only to draw 1-1 at home with lowly Fulham on Sunday.

That draw leaves Arsenal ninth in the table, one place and three points below Everton, who have themselves lacked consistency this season.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest in North London.

David Luiz

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: May 1 (vs. Newcastle United)

David Luiz has not featured for Arsenal since undergoing a knee operation at the start of the month. It was described as a minor procedure, but the ex-Brazil international is unlikely to return before May.

Martin Odegaard

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: April 23 (vs. Everton)

Real Madrid loanee Martin Odegaard has now missed Arsenal's last four games with a minor ankle problem. The midfielder returned to training this week and has a chance of featuring against Everton.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Malaria
Possible return date: Unknown

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang confirmed last week that his recent absence from the Arsenal squad was down to contracting malaria while away on international duty. Arteta is unsure exactly how long the striker will be out.

Alexandre Lacazette

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: April 23 (vs. Everton)

With Aubameyang already absent, Arsenal could be without their other star attacker as Alexandre Lacazette injured his hamstring in the draw with Fulham. The Gunners are monitoring the Frenchman, but it looks likely that he will spend a few weeks on the sidelines.

Kieran Tierney

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Kieran Tierney injured his hamstring against Liverpool at the start of the month. The influential left-back has been given little chance of playing again for Arsenal this term, which also makes him doubtful for Scotland's Euro 2020 campaign.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for the visit of Everton.
