Members of Arsenal's first-team squad are reportedly 'sick' of drawn-out meetings being held by Unai Emery after training.

Members of Arsenal's first-team squad have reportedly grown 'sick' of lengthy meetings held by manager Unai Emery.

After a poor run of form on the domestic front, Emery is under increasing pressure to keep his job at the Emirates Stadium.

The Spaniard's chances have not been helped by the situation involving Granit Xhaka, who has now been stripped of the club captaincy after his angry outburst towards supporters who cheered his substitution against Crystal Palace.

According to the London Evening Standard, a number of senior players have become frustrated by Emery's insistence to hold meetings after training.

The report claims that the first-team squad are expected to remain present for 'lengthy' sessions, which are sometimes prolonged due to Emery's level of English.

The 48-year-old witnessed a much-changed team register a 1-1 draw with Vitoria de Guimaraes in the Europa League on Wednesday afternoon.
