Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Osasuna

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's La Liga clash with Osasuna.

Barcelona will be looking to keep their La Liga title hopes alive when they welcome Osasuna to Camp Nou in the penultimate match of their 2019-20 league season.

The Spanish champions are currently a point behind leaders Real Madrid, although Zinedine Zidane's side will have the chance to stretch their advantage to four points when they travel to Granada on Monday night.

Quique Setien's team have now won each of their last three in Spain's top flight, overcoming Villarreal, Espanyol and Real Valladolid since back-to-back draws with Celta Vigo and Atletico Madrid.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barca's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Osasuna, who are currently 11th in the table.

Ousmane Dembele

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Dembele has struggled with injuries throughout the season, making just five La Liga appearances and nine in all competitions. The Frenchman has been out since the end of November with his latest hamstring issue, and he will not be able to return for the Spanish champions until next season.

Frenkie de Jong

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: July 16 (vs. Valladolid)

De Jong has been on the sidelines since the middle of June with a calf problem, but the Netherlands international is now back in training. He was not involved against Valladolid at the weekend but is likely to be in contention to return in Thursday's clash with Osasuna.

Samuel Umtiti

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: July 16 (vs. Valladolid)

Umtiti has missed Barca's last three matches with a knee problem, and it remains to be seen whether the Frenchman is available for this particular game. Injures have restricted the centre-back to just 13 La Liga appearances this term, and he has recently been linked with a summer exit.

Antoine Griezmann

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: July 16 (vs. Osasuna)

Griezmann was replaced at the interval of Saturday's clash with Valladolid due to 'discomfort in his quadriceps'. The France international will now allegedly be monitored over the next couple of days before it is decided whether he will be able to feature against Osasuna.

Arthur

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: July 16 (vs. Osasuna)

Arthur, who has already agreed to join Juventus this summer, was not involved against Valladolid due to a bout of tonsillitis. The midfielder could be available for Setien on Thursday night, though.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barca have no players suspended for this game, with Ansu Fati serving his one-match ban last time out.
