Team News: Ivan Rakitic returns to Barcelona midfield to face Las Palmas

The introduction of Ivan Rakitic is one of several changes for Barcelona against Las Palmas.

Barcelona have made a host of changes for their La Liga showdown with Las Palmas, including the reintroduction of midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

Luis Enrique has changed three of his back four as Marc Bartra, Sergi Roberto and Adriano join Gerard Pique in defence.

Javier Mascherano has moved into a midfield role alongside Sergio Busquets and Rakitic, while the front three of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez is unchanged.

Las Palmas have named the same XI that defeated Sevilla 2-0 in midweek.

Subs: Masip, Alves, Mathieu, Andres, Iniesta, Gerard, El Haddadi, Ramirez

Las Palmas: Varas; Simon, Alcaraz, Oliva, Bigas; Castellano, Wakaso, Hernan, Mesa; Araujo, Viera
Subs: Raul, Garcia, Jose, Aleman, Culio, Valeron, El Zhar
