Team News: Thibaut Courtois misses out for Chelsea

A virus rules goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois out of Chelsea's trip to Liverpool, meaning that Asmir Begovic deputises between the posts.

Chelsea are without goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for tonight's trip to Liverpool.

The Belgian made the journey to Merseyside with the rest of his teammates, but he has since been ruled out with a virus.

It means that Asmir Begovic has come in between the posts, while John Obi Mikel has filled in for suspended captain John Terry at centre-back.

Up front, leading goalscorer Diego Costa has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, which has seen youngster Bertrand Traore promoted from the bench.

As for hosting Liverpool, manager Jurgen Klopp has selected a relatively strong starting lineup, despite the fact that the Europa League final is just seven days away.

Daniel Sturridge spearheads the attack, while the likes of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and James Milner all feature.

Liverpool: Mignolet; Clyne, Toure, Lovren, Moreno; Can, Milner, Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino; Sturridge
Subs: Bogdan, Skrtel, Smith, Lucas, Allen, Ojo, Benteke

Chelsea: Begovic; Azpilicueta, Mikel, Cahill, Rahman; Fabregas, Matic; Pedro, Willian, Hazard; Traore
Subs: Amelia, Tomori, Kenedy, Loftus-Cheek, Palmer, Pato, Abraham
