Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how England could line up for Saturday's UEFA Nations League clash with Hungary.

England manager Gareth Southgate will not have Ben White at his disposal for Saturday's UEFA Nations League opener with Hungary at the Puskas Arena on Saturday evening.

The Arsenal defender struggled with a hamstring problem in the final few weeks of the domestic season, and he is one of three centre-backs to miss out alongside Marc Guehi and Fikayo Tomori.

Phil Foden will also miss this contest due to COVID-19, and Southgate is facing a late call over Raheem Sterling due to the attacker's own bout of illness.

White's fellow Gunner Aaron Ramsdale continues his bid to displace Jordan Pickford as England number one, but the Everton man should hold his spot in between the sticks here.

As ever, an abundance of right-back options could see Trent Alexander-Arnold granted an extended rest following the Champions League final, as Reece James aims to fend off competition from Kyle Walker for a start.

Kieran Trippier will likely be required at left-back, and it would not be a surprise to see John Stones partner Harry Maguire while Guehi and Tomori remain sidelined.

Jude Bellingham is a strong candidate to partner Declan Rice in the middle over Kalvin Phillips, and Mason Mount will expect to feature just ahead of the pair.

Bukayo Saka and Jack Grealish can expect to be given the nods out wide as the uncapped Jarrod Bowen settles for a place on the bench, while Harry Kane will aim to break the 50-goal mark for the Three Lions with a single strike in Budapest.

England possible starting lineup: Pickford; James, Stones, Maguire, Trippier; Rice, Bellingham; Saka, Mount, Grealish; Kane
