Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will reportedly be named the LMA Manager of the Year.
Ferguson announced his decision to retire earlier this week and will be replaced at Old Trafford by Everton boss David Moyes next season.
Both managers have collected the accolade three times apiece, but Ferguson looks set to round off a glittering career by winning it for a record fourth after leading United to the Premier League title, according to The Mirror.
A League Manager's Association member said: "We feel Alex deserves our crown this year."
The award will be announced at an LMA dinner on May 20.
