Jozabed rescues point for Rayo Vallecano

Jozabed finds the net at each end of the pitch as Getafe share a 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano in the La Liga clash at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Jozabed scored at both ends of the pitch as Rayo Vallecano came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Getafe in their La Liga meeting this evening.

Roberto Trashorras came close to giving the visitors an early lead, but his effort from range was kept out by Vicente Guaita.

The hosts soon took control and Carlos Vigaray saw his low drive comfortably saved by Juan Carlos, before the keeper made another simple stop from Alvaro Vazquez.

Vazquez soon forced Carlos into a further save from his free kick, and moments later Victor Rodriguez smashed wide from a promising position.

In the 58th minute Getafe finally made their pressure count by taking the lead as Jozabed turned Rodriguez's low cross past his own goalkeeper at the front post.

However, the visitors were given a way back into the match when the referee awarded a penalty against Vigaray for a handball inside the box.

Trashorras took the resulting spot kick, and although he saw his attempt saved by Guaita, Jozabed was on hand to turn home the rebound from close range to level the scores and earn his side a point.
