Midfielder Lewis Holtby has been left out of the Schalke starting lineup for their Bundesliga clash against Hamburg this evening.

The 22-year-old drops to the bench at the Imtech Arena, while defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos returns to the lineup.

Schalke are without attacking midfielder Rafael van der Vaart, the Dutchman having been ruled out for the next three weeks with torn muscle fibres in his hamstring.
