Pierre-Michel Lasogga leads the Hamburger SV attack as they attempt to avoid relegation on the final day of the season.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga will spearhead the Hamburger SV attack for their vital final-day Bundesliga clash with Mainz 05 this afternoon.

The Hertha Berlin loanee will operate as a lone striker in front of a packed midfield comprising Tomas Rincon, Hakan Calhanoglu, Milan Badelj, Rafael van der Vaart, and Robert Tesche.

Mainz, who could relegate Hamburg if they secure victory, have named Japanese international Shinji Okazaki as their lone striker in a 4-5-1 formation.

The visitors are battling against Augsburg for a seventh-place finish.
