Domenico Berardi scored a 95th-minute penalty to give Sassuolo a famous win at San Siro against Serie A leaders Inter Milan this afternoon.
Inter were denied on several occasions by Sassuolo stopper Andrea Consigli before Miranda gave away a last-gasp penalty which Berardi stuck away.
Adem Ljajic stood out for the home side, but he was thwarted by Consigli throughout as Sassuolo extended their unbeaten run to four games.
Inter are still top, but they miss the chance to go four clear and will be overtaken if Napoli win at lowly Frosinone later this afternoon. Sassuolo, meanwhile, move up to sixth.
