Team News: Mohamed Salah, Philippe Coutinho on Liverpool bench

Mohamed Salah and Philippe Coutinho drop to the Liverpool bench ahead of their Premier League game away at Stoke City on Wednesday night.

Jurgen Klopp has made six changes to his Liverpool starting XI ahead of Wednesday's Premier League game away at Stoke City.

Dominic Solanke makes his first Premier League start for the Reds since his summer arrival from Chelsea, taking compatriot Daniel Sturridge's place up front.

Ragnar Klavan, James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Philippe Coutinho and Mohamed Salah also drop out of the starting lineup.

Alongside Solanke, the other players who come into the team are Dejan Lovren, Emre Can, Georginio Wijnaldum, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Stoke boss Mark Hughes, meanwhile, makes two changes from the side that lost 2-1 at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Bruno Martins Indi replaces Kevin Wimmer, while Peter Crouch makes his first start of the season, coming in for Ramadan Sobhi.

Stoke City: Grant; Martins Indi, Zouma, Shawcross; Pieters, Fletcher, Allen, Diouf; Shaqiri, Crouch, Choupo-Moting
Subs: Haugaard, Wimmer, Berahino, Jese, Afellay, Adam, Sobhi

Liverpool: Mignolet; Gomez, Lovren, Matip, Moreno; Can, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Firmino, Mane, Solanke
