Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola recalls Leroy Sane for his side's Premier League trip to face West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has recalled Leroy Sane for his side's Premier League trip to face West Ham United at the London Stadium this afternoon.

The winger was left out of the starting lineup for last weekend's 5-0 win over Swansea City, but returns in place of Bernardo Silva this afternoon as the Portuguese forward drops to the bench.

David Silva also misses out for the champions as Fernandinho returns in midfield, while Nicolas Otamendi replaces captain Vincent Kompany and Kyle Walker comes in for Danilo as Guardiola makes four changes.

Sergio Aguero remains sidelined for the visitors which means that Gabriel Jesus leads the line once again, while Raheem Sterling joins the Brazilian and Sane in the attacking trio.

There is also a place on the bench for Benjamin Mendy as he continues his recovery from a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

West Ham, meanwhile, welcome former Manchester United full-back Patrice Evra into their starting lineup as one of three changes made by manager David Moyes.

Man City loanee Joe Hart is ineligible to play against his parent club and so is replaced in goal by Adrian, while Manuel Lanzini makes an unexpected return from injury to replace Joao Mario in the side.

West Ham United: Adrian; Ogbonna, Rice, Cresswell; Zabaleta, Noble, Kouyate, Evra; Fernandes, Arnautovic, Lanzini
Subs: Trott, Cullen, Joao Mario, Masuaku, Hugill, Carroll, Hernandez

Manchester City: Ederson; Walker, Laporte, Otamendi, Delph; Fernandinho, Gundogan, De Bruyne; Sane, Sterling, Jesus
Subs: Bravo, Danilo, Bernardo, Mendy, Yaya Toure, Nmecha, Foden
