Everton are reportedly considering a late loan move to sign Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic.

Everton are reportedly considering a late loan move to sign Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic.

The 24-year-old has been strongly linked with an exit from the Santiago Bernabeu, after failing to cement a regular place in Carlo Ancelotti's starting lineup.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the Toffees – now under the tutelage of Frank Lampard – are eyeing a temporary deal for the Serbia international as they look to bolster their attack before the 11pm deadline.

Jovic could potentially be Everton's third loan signing of the January window, with Anwar El Ghazi having already joined from Aston Villa, while Manchester United's Donny van de Beek is closing in on a temporary move to Goodison Park.

Arsenal are another club who are believed to be interested in signing Jovic on loan, after missing out on primary target Dusan Vlahovic and with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang set to join Barcelona on loan.

Jovic, who moved to Real Madrid from Eintracht Frankfurt for a fee in excess of £50m, has scored only three goals in 47 appearances for the Spanish giants across all competitions.
