Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici admits that it will be "very difficult" for his team to re-sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has admitted that it will be "very difficult" for his team to re-sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

Pogba was strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the latter stages of Jose Mourinho's tenure, with Barcelona and Juve credited with an interest.

The 25-year-old won four Serie A titles with Juventus between 2012 and 2016 and recently said that Turin was 'his home'.

However, last month it was reported that Pogba was prepared to sit down and discuss a new contract with United due to his happiness in the current set-up under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Paratici has not ruled out a move for Pogba but has conceded that re-signing the Frenchman is unlikely.

"Will Pogba return to Juventus? No. In football, you never know, but I think it is very difficult," Paratici told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Pogba has scored 13 times and registered nine assists in 30 appearances for United this season.
