Team News: Karim Benzema starts for Real Madrid

Karim Benzema is recalled to Real Madrid's starting lineup for their match against Getafe after starting on the bench last weekend.

Karim Benzema has been named in Real Madrid's starting lineup for their La Liga match against Getafe after being dropped to the bench last weekend.

The striker came on as a substitute in the 2-0 win over Eibar on Sunday, while Daniel Carvajal misses out through injury, so Lucas Vazquez comes in, and Mateo Kovacic drops to the bench.

Denis Cheryshev, whose midweek involvement in the Copa del Rey resulted in the team being kicked out of the competition, is also named among the substitutes.

Meanwhile, the visitors make just one change to the side that beat Villarreal 2-0 in their last league outing, with Wanderson taking the place of Stefan Scepovic up front.

Real Madrid: Navas; Pepe, Nacho, Danilo, Vazquez; Kroos, Modric, James; Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo,
Subs: Casilla, Casemiro, Kovacic, Arbeloa, Jese, Cheryshev, Llorente

Getafe: Guaita; Alexis, Lago, Cala, Suarez; Lafita, Lacen, Sarabia, Rodriguez, Wanderson; Vasquez
Subs: Megyeri, Vergini, Yoda, Leon, Gomez, Scepovic, Mensah
