Team News: Stoke City make two changes for Fulham visit

Mark Hughes makes two changes to his Stoke City starting XI for the visit of Fulham.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has made two changes to his starting lineup for today's Premier League match against Fulham.

Oussama Assaidi is recalled in place of Peter Crouch, with the Moroccan international returning to the fold for the first time since February.

Ryan Shawcross's suspension ensures a place in the team for Marc Muniesa in central defence, as the Potters look to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur last time out.

Meanwhile, Fulham have named Kostas Mitroglou among their substitutes for the visit to the Britannia Stadium, ensuring a start for Darren Bent.

Steve Sidwell has overcome injury in time for the Cottagers, who are looking for three points to drag them to safety at the bottom end of the Premier League table.

Stoke City: Begovic; Pieters, Muniesa, Wilson, Cameron; Arnautovic, Nzonzi, Whelan, Assaidi; Ireland, Odemwingie
Subs: Sorensen; Palacios, Adam, Walters, Crouch, Etherington, Wilkinson

Fulham: Stockdale; Heitinga, Hangeland, Burn, Riise; Holtby, Parker, Sidwell, Diarra, Richardson; Bent
Subs: Joronen, Kasami, Mitroglou, Dejagah, Woodrow, Riether, Amorebieta
